Hi! I am Fleur Vrakking – Fleurfoodie
Food photographer | Food blogger | product photographer
I am a professional food photographer specializing in product and restaurant photography, as well as the blogger behind Fleurfoodie. Based in Breda, the Netherlands, I combine my marketing background with my passion for food to create professional visuals for brands and easy recipes for active home bakers.
From managing a beach club to food photography
My background is in hospitality and marketing. For 13 years, I worked at Strandpaviljoen Scheldezicht in Westkapelle, where I eventually became the general manager. In that role, I was responsible for our marketing and saw firsthand how much impact high-quality visuals have on a business. I realized that to stay ahead, we needed to show our food in a way that made people want to visit us immediately.
During the pandemic, when the hospitality industry was on hold, I decided to take that realization to the next level. I spent those months behind the lens, teaching myself the ins and outs of food photography and styling. What started as a way to help a restaurant grow, turned into a professional career.

Baking for a balanced lifestyle
I’ve always loved baking, but my approach has changed over the years. I’m a frequent gym-goer and you can find me on the field hockey pitch twice a week. In the past, I baked purely for the taste, without really looking at ingredients or calories. Now, I focus on balance.
On Fleurfoodie, I share a mix of indulgent “cheat meals” and conscious, protein-packed recipes. My mission is to make baking easier, more delicious, and accessible for everyone. I want to show you that you can ditch the boxed mixes and bake from scratch—without complicated techniques, weird ingredients, or fancy equipment.
