Strawberry Mojito is made of strawberries, lime, sugar, white rum, and mint. A variation on the classic mojito. It is a fizzy mint lime strawberry cocktail that is a bit sweet and refreshing.
Press the palm of your hand over the lime and roll it back and forth before slicing. This releases the juices and this ensures that you get juice from the lime. Cut the lime into 4 quarters. This way you get more juice from your lime. Add the lime wedges into the glass.
½ lime
Hill the strawberries and add them in the glass. Use a muddler to muddle everything.
4 fresh strawberries
Now take the mint leaves. Before you put it in the glass, hit it in the palm of your hand. Put them in the glass. Also smear the rim of your glass with mint so that you get extra mint flavor here too. Pay attention that you don't muddle the mint along.
5 mint leaves
Do the white rum into a measuring jigger and add it to the glass.
40 ml white rum
Fill the glass with crushed ice.
1 glass crushed ice
Stir everything together with your bar spoon so that it mixes well. Make sure that the limes and mint float nicely in your glass and that they don't stay at the bottom.
Finish the cocktail with sparkling water
15 ml soda water
Garnish the cocktail with mint sprig and a strawberry.
